19 January 2011. The Project Management Institute (PMI) recently created a Registered Consultant Program (RCP). This program is designed to help client companies find a project, program or portfolio management consulting firm that suits their needs. The program is designed to ultimately support PMI’s envisioned goal of organizations embracing, valuing and utilizing project management and attributing their success to it worldwide. In the future you can check this PMI RCP directory to find qualified companies with proven experience (over five years) in project, program and portfolio management consulting services. This is a similar program to the popular Registered Education Provider (REP) program for training companies.
We are pleased to announce that TenStep has been selected as the sixth company in the world to be accepted into the Registered Consultant Program. We have met the PMI criteria for business longevity, consulting experience, prior case studies and adherence to the PMI RCP code of ethics. We are currently loading dozens of case studies of prior projects where we have successfully helped companies set up PMOs, deploy project management, customize methodologies, assess organizations and much more.
The Registered Consulting Program has been announced by PMI, but it will not be formally activated online until 31 March 2011. Since we are one of the first companies to be selected we wanted to pass the news on the you early.
The bottom line is that we can help your organization in any PMO, project, program, portfolio or process area. You can see some of our services at http://www.consulting-pmo.com/. Please send me a quick return email (jim.maher@TenStep.ie) to discuss how we could help your organization in the coming months. |
