Do you have an important presentation coming up? Would you like to make your presentations more convincing? Perhaps you just want to increase your confidence in speaking before a group? This course provides an opportunity to improve your presentation skills in a challenging but supportive environment.

 Knowledge of any personal tics you may have and how to control them


BEFORE THE TRAINING

Learners prepare a 10-minute presentation on a topic of their choice, preferably a presentation that they will be required to make in the future.

DURING THE SESSION

Learners are shown new tips and techniques, which they try out in a series of practice sessions.

PRESENTING THE MATERIAL

 Preparing
 Getting the structure right
 Pitching it at the audience
 Making it interesting
 Including the right amount of information
 Choosing and using visual aids


PRESENTING YOURSELF

 Coping with nerves
 Using the voice effectively
 Managing body language
 Avoiding common mistakes
 Interacting with the audience
 Handling questions


AFTER THE SESSION

Participants can view recordings of their practice sessions again and use them, in conjunction with their handouts, to develop and improve their skills for future presentations. Follow-on coaching sessions are also available if required.
